REAN Cloud, a Herndon company that saw a $950 million government contract get terminated after the way it was awarded stoked controversy, is being acquired by a Silicon Valley subsidiary of Japanese tech conglomerate Hitachi Ltd.
Santa Clara, California-based Hitachi Vantara said Tuesday it would acquire 5-year-old REAN Cloud for an undisclosed sum.
